Welcome to Our New Lockside Canteen Tenant: The Bao Journey Bakery

We’re thrilled to announce that The Bao Journey Bakery has joined us as the new tenant at our Lockside canteen!

Established in 2021, this beloved locally owned business has quickly earned a loyal following with its Asian fusion menu. Fans of The Bao Journey will already be familiar with their delicious Chinese steamed buns, pan-fried buns, mochi, and inventive baked goods like pineapple buns and green onion buns. Their reputation has grown steadily through appearances at farmers’ markets and pop-up events throughout HRM—and now, we’re excited to have them right here on site!

In addition to their signature Asian fusion offerings, The Bao Journey Bakery will also serve up classic ice cream flavours, perfect for a sunny day along the canal.

You can visit them Thursday through Monday, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
